Be in solidarity with positive & healthy others

Solidarity is unity or agreement of feeling or action, especially among individuals with a common interest; mutual support within a group. Research has shown that working with others helps to accomplish a task, mission, or purpose. Said another way, “Teamwork makes the Dream Work!” Still, operating in solidarity can be challenging. This is why developing understanding regarding a persons’ circumstances is so important. Some techniques enabling us to come together, include:

1. Do something fun or constructive with those who are not like you.

2. When an individual is struggling, spend time with that person.

3. Sacrifice our time, talent and treasure. Volunteer, give away items you no longer need, abstain from certain items and then use the time to connect with other people.
